Welcome to Chessington Sports Centre's home page. If you haven't yet been to the Sports Centre, the aim of this web page is to provide you, the customers, with an insight into what's happening at your local Sports Centre.
With our great range of facilities there's bound to be something right for you and your family.
The Sports Centre is part of the Chessington Community College which from September 2004 has gained Sports College Status, and Adult Education Centre.
Our facilities consist of a multi purpose sports hall which can be used for badminton, 5 a side, volleyball, basketball, mini tennis, uni hoc, netball and table tennis.
The Fitness Suite is well equipped and popular with customers. Circuit training classes take place in the fitness and we also hold a tums bums and thighs class in the school hall.
Other sports such as trampolining, gymnastics and roller skating also take place in the main hall. We also have childrens parties and multi sports camps taking place during the holiday periods.
Our sunbed facilities can help you boost your tan in time for your holidays and maintain a healthy glow after.
We also have a Cafe, Lounge and Bar area which is ideal for meetings, seminars, courses and functions such as birthday parties, engagements, and anniversaries, we have a well stocked licensed bar including draft lagers.
If you are looking for a venue for an antique fair, sports competition or social function contact the Centre Manager.
The Sports Centre is home to various clubs such as Chessington Badminton Club, The Surrey Basketball Association, Kingston Wildcats, Genesis Gymnastic Club, Wing-Tsun Kung Fu and Skaters Roller Disco. Weight watchers hold their weekly meeting in our lounge.
We are ideally located just a few miles from the M25 and the A3, just down the road from Chessington World of Adventures. The Centre is next door to Chessington South BR station, and is on the 71, 465 and 467 bus routes.
